High-rise structure under construction against the sky

MC360 // Tools & Converters

A BUBBLE LEVELALREADY INYOUR POCKET.

The level is always in the truck. Your phone is not. The MatCalc360 construction level reads pitch, percent grade, rise-over-run, inches-per-foot and plumb from your phone's sensors — calibrated, jobsite-ready, free with no login.

Process

Three steps. Zero guesswork.

01

Enter your measurements

Length, width, depth, pitch — the numbers you already pace off on site. No blueprints, no signup, no spreadsheet.

02

Calculate materials

The calculator applies the right formulas, density factors and waste allowances for your specific material.

03

Get your results

Squares, yards, tons, boards or sheets — a clean order list you can hand straight to the supplier.

PITCH, GRADE AND PLUMB — FROM A PHONE

CH.01

Every slope unit trades actually use

Roofers talk in pitch, civil crews in percent grade, carpenters in inches per foot, and engineers in degrees. The level reads your surface once and reports all of them, so the roof deck you just measured as 6/12 is also 26.6 degrees and a 50% grade — no conversion chart required.

  • Pitch (x/12) for roofing
  • % grade for drainage and paving
  • Degrees and rise/run included
CH.02

Plumb and level without the torpedo

Stand the phone on edge against a stud for plumb, lay it flat on a countertop for level, or set it on a stair stringer for pitch. The big high-contrast readout is designed to be read in full sun — pair it with the light mode toggle on this site.

  • Edge mode: plumb walls and posts
  • Flat mode: level slabs and counters
  • Sun-readable high-contrast readout
CH.03

Calibrate once, trust it all day

Every phone sensor has a small offset. Set the phone on any known-flat surface, tap calibrate, and the level zeros itself against reality instead of the factory spec. Recalibrate after a hard drop and the readings stay honest.

  • Zero against any flat surface
  • Recalibrate after drops
  • Case on or off — calibrate as used
